The brewhouse and restaurant “Altes Mädchen” is located in Hamburg’s lively and trendy quarter “Schanze”. If you want to try one out of 60 different Craft beers from around the world aside from their own “Ratsherrn” brew and enjoy it with thick sandwiches with organic bread from their own wooden oven, then this is your place. Furthermore the menu offers burgers, salads, steaks, soups and other culinary highlights. Although the restaurant is fairly big, every seat feels as cozy as if you would sit at home next to the fireplace.

Tip: You have to get the sandwich “Hackepeter”: homemade bread with steak tartar, chopped onions, pepper and mango-pineapple chutney. Delicious!
