The café, brasserie and bar Palmenhaus (“palm tree house”) is located in Vienna’s finest, the frist quarter. It is undoubtful one of the most beautiful steal – glass – constructions of its time. The glasshouse was used by the Kaiser for entertainment and relaxation. The Palmenhaus is situated right next to the “Hofburg”. The terrace allows a view into the “Burggarten”, the beautifully arranged gardens of the castle. The menu offers typical Austrain sweet dishes, cakes and coffee but also other hot and cold meals – all of it very delicious. The atmosphere is extravagant and makes you feel comfortable inbetween lots of palm trees.
